I had a lovely stay at Manor House Country Hotel, enjoying the stunning views from my Junior Suite, and the spa facilities were a highlight of my visit. However, while the food was enjoyable, there were some service delays during my dining experience. Overall, it was a relaxing getaway, and I look forward to returning! 🌅✨

I had a mixed experience at Manor House Country Hotel. The breakfast had a decent selection, and the views were stunning, but several aspects like room temperature and the steak I encountered during the wedding were disappointing. Staff were generally friendly and responsive, but I did expect a lot more from a 4-star hotel.

Rooms

My room was spacious, but it was way too cold during my stay. I heard complaints from others about the temperature too. Plus, the decor felt a bit outdated to meet the 4-star mark.

While the staff were friendly and tried their best to cater to our needs, I felt there were moments where they could have been more attentive, especially during breakfast when I had to wait a while to get service.

Breakfast was decent, but the steaks at the wedding were disappointing—full of sinew and not cooked to our request, which really let down the meal.

The hotel offered good leisure amenities and had a lovely atmosphere, but the issues with room heating and other minor inconveniences affect the overall comfort.

My stay at Manor House Country Hotel was mostly good. The stunning views and comfortable accommodations made for a relaxing getaway. However, the dining experience had its ups and downs, particularly with the steak at the wedding reception which missed the mark. Overall, I enjoyed my time and would return for the ambiance and superb breakfast.

I had a lovely time at the Manor House Country Hotel. my wife and I treated ourselves to an anniversary getaway, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade to an executive double room. The stay was mostly enjoyable, with a fantastic spa experience and good dining at the Cellar Door Bistro. However, I found the breakfast service to be quite chaotic and my experience with the pool was frustrating at times due to some guests not following the rules.

My stay at the Manor House Country Hotel had its highs and lows. The room was super comfortable and had stunning views, but the noise from the ongoing renovations was hard to ignore. While the staff were friendly and attentive, I was let down by certain aspects of the dining experience, particularly the food quality and lack of variety. Overall, it was an okay stay, but I wish some issues had been handled better.

Rooms
8.0
The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and an excellent view of the lake, though it had a less appealing outlook this time compared to previous visits.
Service
6.0
Most staff were friendly and attentive, but some interactions were less than ideal, like being told to sit at an already occupied table for breakfast.
Location
7.0
The picturesque setting by the lake is stunning, although the view from my room wasn't great this time due to construction chaos behind the hotel.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast had improved variety, but the bar food was disappointing and felt more like frozen meals than fresh dishes, which was a letdown.
Facilities

The spa facilities were impressive, with a nice pool and sauna, but there were cleanliness issues in the changing areas that need attention.
